No single check, document, or combination of evidence proves that a shirt is authentic. These questions are here to help you look closely and decide for yourself.

Price: If a deal seems too good to be true, take extra care. Ask questions and review the available evidence before buying.
Consistency: Where relevant, the player, team, season, competition and match details should agree with each other, with the photos, and with any evidence the seller provides.
Photos: Ask for close photos of the details that matter to you, such as the nameset, the patches, the wash tag or a signature, where the shirt has them. Message the seller and ask them to add the photos to the listing, so you can see them full size.
