Sell your match-worn and signed football shirts
Shirt Circle is a collector-to-collector marketplace for match-worn, match-issued and signed football shirts. List your shirt with your own photos and evidence, set a price or open it to offers, and sell to collectors across Europe.
Why sell on Shirt Circle
- You receive the full price
- The amount you agree is the amount you are paid. Shirt Circle's service premium is added on top for the buyer, so there is no seller commission to subtract from your sale.
- Paid before you ship
- The buyer pays at checkout, before you print a label. Payments are processed and held by Stripe. Shirt Circle never holds your money. Your payment is held by Stripe until the parcel is delivered and the buyer's protection window closes. Items over EUR 1,000 are held for 7 days instead of 48 hours. An open dispute pauses the release.
- A prepaid tracked label for every sale
- Postage and insurance are paid by the buyer and the label is generated on your sale page. Print it, pack the shirt to the guidelines, drop the parcel off.
- Your evidence, your claims
- Shirt Circle displays seller claims and evidence. It does not authenticate items. Collectors judge what you show, so photo matches, certificates, signing photos and a clear provenance story are what sell a shirt here.
How selling works
- 1
Create your listing
Add photos, details, and your own authenticity claims and evidence. You confirm at publication that they are yours and accurate.
- 2
Set up payouts
Connect a Stripe account so you can be paid. Stripe requires identity and account verification before payouts can be enabled; you can publish listings before setup is complete, but buyers can only purchase once it is ready.
- 3
Sell and ship
When a buyer pays, your sale page shows the shipping address, a prepaid tracked label, and your exact shipping deadline. Print the label, pack the shirt to our guidelines, and drop the parcel off.
- 4
The parcel arrives
The carrier's delivery confirmation starts the buyer's protection window. The buyer can confirm receipt right away or report a problem.
- 5
Get paid
Payments are processed and held by Stripe. Shirt Circle never holds your money. Once the protection window closes, the payout is released and you can follow it in your Stripe Express dashboard.
Ship within 5 business days. If no label is created by then, the order is automatically refunded to the buyer.
What collectors are looking for
The shirts that sell fastest are the ones whose story checks out on the page: the match or signing it comes from, how it reached you, and the evidence that supports it. Photograph the details that prove the point (name and number set, patches, wear, tags, the signature up close) and describe them plainly. A buyer can read our guide to buying safely; the questions it raises are the ones your listing should already answer.

Questions sellers ask
What happens after I accept an offer?
Accepting an offer agrees the price. It is not a completed sale and no money has moved yet. The buyer still has to pay: they get a "Pay" button in the chat and on the listing, and the order only exists once that payment succeeds. Until it does, the shirt stays on sale and someone else can still buy it, unless you reserve it for the buyer from the accepted-offer bar. Once the buyer has paid you get a confirmation, the listing is marked sold, and the sale appears under Sales with your shipping instructions. Payments are processed and held by Stripe. Shirt Circle never holds your money.
What do I need to do once the buyer has paid?
Open the sale from your Sales page and create the prepaid shipping label there. Always use that label: it is already paid for by the buyer, it carries the insurance where it applies, and it is what links the parcel to the order. Do not buy your own label or arrange your own courier. Pack the shirt, hand the parcel to the carrier, and the tracking attaches to the order automatically, so both you and the buyer follow it from the order page. Ship within 5 business days. If no label is created by then, the order is automatically refunded to the buyer.
Who pays the shipping costs?
The buyer pays shipping, and insurance where it applies, at checkout on top of the item price. The exact shipping cost is shown on the listing and again before payment. The seller never pays for shipping: the label they create is already paid for.
When and how do I get my payout?
Your payment is held by Stripe until the parcel is delivered and the buyer's protection window closes. Items over EUR 1,000 are held for 7 days instead of 48 hours. An open dispute pauses the release. The payout runs through Stripe, so your Stripe payout setup has to be fully verified before the money can reach you. You can publish listings and sell before that is finished, but an incomplete payout setup is the one thing that can hold up your money after a sale, which is why Shirt Circle keeps warning you about it until it is done. Finish it from the Payouts page in your dashboard, and follow the bank payout itself in your Stripe Express dashboard.
Why do I need to set up Stripe Connect?
Stripe handles every payment and payout on Shirt Circle. Stripe requires identity and account verification before payouts can be enabled. You can publish listings before setup is complete, but buyers can only purchase once your payout setup is ready.
How long until a payout is on my bank account?
Once the protection period ends, Shirt Circle instructs Stripe to release the seller payout. If a release attempt fails, our system retries it automatically. You can follow the bank payout in your Stripe Express dashboard, which opens from the Payouts page; bank processing times vary per bank and country.
What do I do if something goes wrong with a sale?
Start in the conversation with the buyer: most problems are a delayed parcel or a question about the shirt. If the parcel is late or seems lost, check the tracking on the order page first, because carriers can be slow to scan. If the buyer reports a problem with the shirt, you are notified and asked for your response, and the payment simply stays held by Stripe while the claim is reviewed instead of moving to either side. If you cannot create a label, or the sale is stuck in a state you do not recognise, contact Shirt Circle from the order page rather than shipping outside the platform, because a parcel sent on your own label cannot be tracked, insured, or used as evidence.
