Privacy Notice

This privacy notice applies to the Shirt Circle waitlist page, where you can sign up to be notified about our launch.

It explains what we do with the limited personal data we collect here. It does not cover the Shirt Circle marketplace itself, which has its own separate privacy policy.

Shirt Circle (KVK 42075122, Draaikom 65, 1274NM Huizen) is the data controller for this data and processes it in line with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. That is the only detail we ask you for.

We also use Google Analytics on this page, which collects limited information about how the page is used — such as your approximate location, device and browser information, pages viewed, and an identifier stored in a cookie. This is collected only if you accept analytics cookies (see section 3).

2. Why we use it and our legal basis

We use your email address only to contact you about the Shirt Circle launch and waitlist — for example, to let you know when the marketplace goes live. We do this on the basis of your consent, which you give by signing up.

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the page so we can improve it. Because this relies on non-essential cookies, we do so on the basis of your consent.

3. Cookies and Google Analytics

This page uses Google Analytics, provided by Google, which sets cookies and similar identifiers to measure page usage. Because these are not strictly necessary, we ask for your consent through a cookie notice before they are set, and you can refuse or withdraw consent at any time. If you do not accept analytics cookies, the page still works.

Information collected through Google Analytics is processed by Google as part of its service. You can read more in our cookie policy and in Google's privacy policy.

4. Who we share it with

We share data with the providers that help us run this page:

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your email address for anything other than the launch and waitlist updates described here.

5. International transfers

Google may process analytics data outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Where that happens, we rely on an appropriate transfer mechanism under the GDPR, such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission standard contractual clauses.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your email address until our launch and waitlist communications are complete, or until you ask us to remove it or withdraw your consent, whichever comes first. Analytics data is retained for a limited period in line with our Google Analytics settings.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, and you can withdraw your consent or unsubscribe at any time, without affecting processing already carried out. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe option. To exercise your rights, contact us at info@shirtcircle.eu.

You can also lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
